We have made the move
Quite a few people people asked us in the past few months where we would be moving next. After all, our previous place at Quai à la Houille will be demolished in the coming months to make room for new apartments.
At first, the plan was to move our HQ to Recy K, a new warehouse of Bruxelles Propreté hosting circular economy projects (recycling, upcycling, reallocation of materials, ...). Some of you will be pleased to hear that our old friends MicroFactory and MicroMarché will also be hosted there.
The process to move there has been seriously delayed, however. We felt compelled to find an alternative, which we finally did: a wonderful premise in the Rue Haute, thanks to the CPAS of Brussels.
What does this all mean?
- We are moving to the Rue Haute 298 / B, a premise with a shopping window (which makes it very accessible) on the ground floor of the CPAS. Metro Porte de Hal, place du jeu de balles and the elevator to Place Poelaert are just a few minutes away.
- We will be working together with Les Débrouillardes, a project that hosts workshops on the basics of woodworking, installing floor tiles, bike repair and much more.
- We'll have extra opportunities for synergies with other projects, extra workshop space etc. If you have ambitious projects bubbling up in your head, be sure to keep an eye out. If you need a space to work on a project, feel free to get in touch with us.
Reopening will take place on Monday 14th of November between 18h and 20h. From then on, we will once again open twice a week (Monday and Friday 18h-20h).
This means a next step for our project. We will reach more people, organize more activities and therefore need more people. If ever you were considering to help us out, now is the perfect time. Let us know if you decide to lend us a hand!
See you soon,
Olivier
